Welcome to the Conservative Women's Organisation Southern Region.
The CWO Southern Region covers Kent, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, East and West
Sussex - a total of over 84 constituencies (including 5 current Conservative Women MPs).
As the Region is so large, each county has their own Area Chairman, whose role is to get to know local members and Agents, support existing CWO branches and encourage the formation of new ones.
Our aims are to encourage women to participate in Politics by standing as local District/Borough or County Councillors, or even getting on the Parliamentary List; also to raise awareness of and invite debate on issues which affect or have an impact on women.
The CWO is an outreaching , modern women's political organization which is currently in the process of setting up Conservative Women's Forums around the Region. These Forums are intended for business women who are interested in discussing issues but who simply do not have the time to join a committee or take a more active part in the political process.
